On May 13–14, 2026, the acceptance process for two UGE 180 N underfloor wheel lathes was successfully completed at the RAFAMET production facility. All tests and acceptance procedures were carried out successfully and concluded with positive results.
RAFAMET’s direct customer for this project is BaikonurStroySnab LLP, the main contractor for an investment project carried out for Stadler Kazakhstan. The project includes the construction of a modern depot and maintenance facility for railway vehicles operated by JSC National Company “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” and JSC “Passenger Transportation”. Our machines will be delivered to the maintenance workshop, where they will support the servicing and repair of the rolling stock operated by the Kazakhstan Railways.
