RAFAMET S.A. is set to fulfill another order for the domestic railway sector. The company has signed a contract for the delivery of a specialized UFD 140 N wheel lathe to Polski Tabor Szynowy - Wagon Sp. z o.o., based in Ostrów Wielkopolski. Delivery is scheduled for the turn of the fourth quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027.
The recipient, Polski Tabor Szynowy – Wagon Sp. z o.o., is a well-established entity in the railway sector belonging to the ARP S.A. Capital Group, specializing in the manufacturing, modernization, repair, and servicing of rolling stock, with a particular focus on freight wagons and their components. The delivery of the UFD 140 N wheel lathe will allow for the further modernization of the machinery park at the Ostrów Wielkopolski facility.
