RAFAMET S.A. has signed a contract with H. Cegielski – Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych Sp. z o.o., a leading Polish manufacturer of passenger rolling stock, for the supply of four new 3RS 350 road-rail shunting vehicles, complete with full equipment, commissioning, and staff training. The first vehicle will be delivered by the end of July 2027, with the remaining three units scheduled for delivery by the end of September 2027.
3RS 350 road-rail shunters are compact units engineered for the efficient movement of rail vehicles both on tracks and paved surfaces within manufacturing plants and maintenance facilities. Vehicles of this type often serve as auxiliary equipment for underfloor wheel lathes delivered by our company. The contract covering four units for H. Cegielski – FPS represents the first serial production order for these machines. The vehicles will be used for shunting operations at the Poznań manufacturing plant, enabling our partner to significantly optimize internal logistics processes and enhance the safety of shunting operations. This agreement also serves as an example of direct commercial cooperation within the Industrial Development Agency (ARP S.A.) Group, to which both companies belong.
