We are pleased to announce that our company has signed a contract with Warsaw Metro, ensuring long-term cooperation in the field of conducting qualified technical inspections and technical support of underfloor lathe produced by our company.

On May 7, 2025, Rafamet successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test of the UGE 300 N underfloor wheel lathe and the 3RS 800 rail-road shunter with representatives of the Moroccan Railways. We are proud of the fact, that this is Rafamet’s ninth lathe for this partner. The equipment will be installed at a new repair facility in Kenitra, where the underfloor wheel lathe will support the regeneration of wheels and brake discs for high-speed trains and the shunter will handle vehicles up to 800 tons.

On March 17, the preliminary acceptance (Factory Acceptance Test) of our KCI 500 N machine – a cnc double-column vertical lathe – was successfully completed. This is already the fifth machine in a row for client FLSmidth, which will soon head to Kazakhstan. The machine will be unique in terms of equipment and the first of its kind to be delivered to a country that is part of the CIS.

We are delighted to share that we have signed a contract with CEMET S.A. for the delivery of the modern UBF 112 N wheel lathe. The machine will be deployed at production facilities near Kielce, where it will support the regeneration processes of railway wheelsets. The lathe is scheduled to be commissioned in the second half of 2025. This marks another step in strengthening cooperation with key partners and delivering advanced technological solutions to the market. During the recording of the new 3RS 800 model, we had the opportunity to capture its precision and mobility on both tracks and roads. This rail-road shunter, equipped with four independently driven wheels capable of rotating around their own axis, stands out for its maneuverability and strong pulling capacity – it can move rail vehicles weighing up to 800 tons. Soon, together with the UGE 300 N underfloor wheel lathe, it will be delivered to a client in Morocco. More details coming soon!
